Two crossings of the Kinder plateau by bearing alone, meant lots of staring at compass, falling into groughs, tripping over tussocks. A plus point was that there was no-one there to watch! Feelings of dread prior to plunging repeatedly from the misty plateau, down steep slopes into the unknown. Literally a leap of faith. In the mist and snow, the Woolpacks, Kinder Low, Mermaids Pool, Ashop Clough, Fairbrook Naze and Seal Stones all surreally beautiful.
Map of Kinder 12 and my route today Kinder 7!

You’ve confessed all though now ;0) Well done on an epic day out :0)
Ah, Helen. Unfortunately, the GPS does not lie!
